Formulating Urban Design Guidelines for proposed Town Planning Scheme under Smart City Mission for Paradi, Punapur, Bharatwada and Bhandewadi Gaothans in Nagpur
The work for this project started with understanding of the urban context, smart city initiatives, proposed TOWN PLANNING Scheme by HCP, with a focus on the importance of formulation of urban design guidelines for the future developments. The project was approached in four stages –
1) Study and Documentation
2) Analysis
3) Master Plan and
4) Detailed Urban Design proposal and guidelines for overall TOWN PLANNING Scheme.
All this was done while maintaining the character of Gaothans and creating vibrant, economically inclusive, efficient and sustainable urban habitat.
