Pradnya Darpan – B.Arch. – Semester 2

PRADNYA DARPAN

B.Arch - 1st Year (Semester 2)

Architectural Design

This semester design studio framework encourages students to see spaces with respect to the user of the space, the activities in that space, the needs, purpose & function of the space.

This approach is derived from the Design Method – ‘Known to Not-So-known’.

Spaces within a house and activities carried out in these spaces are commonly known to students; but now these spaces are to be analyzed from architectural point of view.

This new way of analyzing and understanding spaces, it’s dimensions, it’s uses and appropriate reflection in designing formed the basis of the Project – My House.
