She is a B.Arch graduate from Visveswaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur, and has a post graduate degree in Urban Design from School of Planning and Architecture, Bhopal. Her topic of interest for research has always been the study of \u201cPower and Urban Form\u201d; power here means the power of decision-makers of a city.
